Monster Under my Bed!
THUMP, THUMP, THUMP!"
"MMMOOOOOMMMMMMMMMYYYYYYYY!!!!" called Jimmy. "There's a monster under my bed!"
"Sweetie, I already told you monsters aren't real!" Jimmy's mom called back.
"But mommy! This time I really heard thumps under my bed!!! Please come and check!"
His mother finally gave in and started down the hall. She turned into Jimmy's room and saw him sitting on his bed grasping his teddy bear. "Okay I'll check under your bed." said his mom.
"And the closet?"
"Of course."
"What about the--"
"Yes, Yes. I will check your whole room for monsters." this is the routine every night. Jimmy has always been afraid of monsters ever since someone told him a story about monsters hiding under kids beds getting ready to eat the toes off little kids when they get up to use the washroom! His mom was getting kind of annoyed with this.
She looked under the bed, in the closet and every where else monsters could hide. "See there's no monsters Jimmy."
"Okay mommy, thank you. Oh, one more thing, can you sleep with me?" asked Jimmy in his cutest voice.
She sighed and said, "Fine, but only for a few minutes." she threw off her slippers and laid down next to Jimmy.
When Jimmy's mom left Jimmy was still awake. He was really worried that there were monsters in his room. All the sudden he had to go to the washroom! He really had to go but he was afraid that a monster was going to nibble his toes off when he got up. ..."FLOP!" Jimmy fell off the bed! He rolled when he hit the floor right under the bed! "AAAHHH!! MONSTERS!" yelled Jimmy in fear. He didn't want to move he was afraid the monsters were going to see him! He just laid there with his eyes shut. He slowly opened one eye. Then the other. All he saw was two eyes looking straight at him!
